The Ryan Halligan Story

Ryan Halligan was a sweet young man of 13 when he took his own life. A popular girl thought it would be funny to make him think she liked him and then shared their IMs with her friends as they laughed at him. Another “friend” who had bullied him since the 5th grade pretended to be his friend for awhile, gained his confidence and then shared private emails with others, accusing Ryan of being gay. Ryan’s adolescence played out for the whole world to see. Read Ryan’s story, the heartache his parents still feel and talk with your kids about everyone’s role in this tragedy.
